DESCRIPTION: APW - Waltham, Vanguard with winding indicator, Model 1892, 21J, 18S, gold-filled OF recase, white enamel quadruple-sunk dial, SW-LS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, jeweled barrel, diamond endstone, checkerboard center pattern nickel damascene, s#16188426.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function aside from hand being a bit out of index, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates, scattered micro-fine scratches to plates and larger winding wheel, few spots of oxide to winding wheels and regulator assembly, missing one case screw; dial with patched edge chip at 4, group of light outer chapter hls between 7 and 8; excellent hour and seconds-hand, fine minute hand with minor oxide, fair winding indicator hand with substantial oxide; case with extra lever slot at 2, case shows light wear, few dings to rear, ding to band at 9, scattered nicks to band, ding to front of pendant, reduced engine turning and engraving detail, inner rear with large portion of wear to brass; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
